"Geology holds the keys of one of the kingdoms of nature; and it cannot be said that a science which extends our Knowledge, and by consequence our Power, over a third part of nature, holds a low place among intellectual employments."
WELCOME
The Belgian Council for Earth Sciences (RAW-CST) was founded in 1990 and bears the statute of non-profit association since 1996. The RAW-CST is a scientific organisation as well as a consultative body, in which a large number of Belgian geo-scientific associations reside. Their aim is to promote, defend, and encourage (citizen) geo-sciences in an ethical and scientific manner:

OUR PARTNERS
Learn more about the associations that are a part of the Belgian Council for Earth Sciences. Mineralogical, Paleontological, Geologcal and other associations within the Geo-Sciences are represented.

DEONTOLOGICAL CODE OF ETHICS
The articles of this code describe how the amateur geologist and collectors of geological objects should behave in the field, how a private collection should be managed and which techniques can be used to prepare specimens for scientific research.
